Instructional Video Catalog:   Title Description

Title:   " Communities on the Praire: Exploring Sustainability "

This program provides the opportunity to learn more about the growing need for sustainable development, the trends and challenges for the 21st century and the systems - political, economic, social, production, technological and international - needed to sustain development. One way to consider new options for future community making is to examine the history of today's communities. This program allows users to explore some of the place-making history of Nebraska towns and cities within six community types - transportation, rural, urban, ethnic, native and institutional. Short videos, maps, photos, print resources and a quiz are available for each community type. Users are encouraged to consider key sustainability issues as they review the history of each community.
