Title:   " Los Mineros "

Much of the history of the western United States centers on the mining of precious metals. Here is the story of Mexican-American miners and their struggles to shape the course of Arizona history. In a saga that spans nearly half a century, this program recounts the rise and fall of the sister cities of Clifton-Morenci, where the mining of copper ore governed the lives of all the inhabitants. Life within the Mexican community is seen through the eyes of the miners and their families.
